Insert Bob Dylan Lyric About Life Changes

Gosh, so much is happening and changing.

I just said goodbye to my BEST friend as she begins her, "if not now, then when" journey to Chicago. Its SO crazy to think that Georgia will no longer be home for her, that we won't share "home" anymore. I am incredibly excited for her and so incredibly jealous of Chi-town.

Transitions are intense, man. I am moved out of Athens, I am drowning in my past lives (elementary school, soccer life, bat mitzvah, high school, Indiana, sickness, UGA, grad school, etc). I take forever to go through my crap because I want to ruminate on all of the memories. I am realizing that life is SO long and SO full, how am I gonna always remember all of the wonderful things that have happened to me?? This must be why I enjoy taking pictures, and I realize that I took A LOT of them over the years. People rag on me about it, but this is how I remember every emotion, every smile, every scene...my mind is too full to depend on it in the long term.

My trip with mom and sis to New York/New Jersey was bumpy on the edges (travel related!) but was so great in between.

This is a bad post.

I'm gonna drink more wine, finish watching the "double dipper" episode of Seinfeld and come back to this blog.

Till then...
